Jussi Laasonen specializes in insurance, tort transport and contract law as
well as in commercial litigation and arbitration (domestic and international).
He has extensive experience in all these areas.
Jussi is a popular lecturer on liability and insurance matters. International
directory evaluating the field of attorneys-at-law, PLC Which Lawyer’s
Insurance Handbook, places Jussi one of the leading attorneys-at-law in
Finland.
Jussi is also one of the authors of the book “Liability Insurance”, which is the
only overall presentation of the liability insurances in Finland.
Finnish judicial newspaper ”Lakimiesuutiset” interviewed Jussi on 7th of April 2020 concerning The Finnish Association of Insurance Lawyers where Jussi has worked as the association’s president since 2014.
”Our association offers our members that kind of training, which is rarely found elsewhere. We also bring together lawyers, who work in different sectors and whose work is in some way related to insurance law.”
What’s the main purpose of the association?
Our main purpose is to promote our members professional skills by arranging versatile training. Every year we organise approximately six different kinds of seminars related to insurance law. On top of this, we also provide our members the opportunity to meet other experts, who work in the same branch of law. This is carried out by arranging both training and cultural events."
